Doodlebug Pals is a “Mommy and Me” program designed for 2 year olds, who will be turning three years of age over the course of the 2010/2011 school year. The Doodlebug Pals program follows  an early childhood education curriculum and meets once a week, for a one hour session. The program runs in three, 10 week sessions from September through May.  Each class consists of ten children along with their Mommies (or other special person).  The Doodlebug Pals 2 year old Mommy and Me Preschool Classes are located at HealthQuest of Hunterdon, however the program is open to both members of HealthQuest (at a preferred rate) and non-members of HealthQuest.

Mommy and Me Founder
Mommy & Me Association, Inc. was founded by Dr. Cindy Bunin Nurik, a renowned child development specialist, family therapist, mom and pioneer in the parent-child movement. In 1979, she opened the Parent-Child enrichment Center in Florida, where she taught Mommy & Me classes. For the past thirty years, Dr. Cindy has worked closely with thousands of children and families.

About Doodlebug Pals... Director and Teacher Colleen Wernoski is the Founder, Director and Teacher of Doodlebug Pals. Ms. Colleen received a BA from Clemson University and a Masters in Teaching from the College of New Jersey. While teaching, Ms. Colleen was the recipient of the “Governor's Teacher of the Year Award”. For the past ten years, Ms. Colleen has been at home raising her three children ages ten, eight and five.

To assist in enriching the lives of her own children, Ms. Colleen has joined several different classes over the years, but fell in love with the parent/toddler program that her two older children had been a part of (and loved!). With Nursery School just around the corner, the Doodlebug Pals Mommy & Me 2 year old preschool program allows the children to get a taste of what nursery school will be like in a loving and nurturing environment. Of course, Mommy (or Daddy, or Grandma, or Grandpa) will be right there by their child’s side, guiding them and enjoying this special time together. Now, in its seventh year, Ms. Colleen continues to bring the Doodlebug Pals program to the Flemington area in hopes that Flemington area families will love this program as much as her family has.

Joining Ms. Colleen again this year, is Ms. Debbie. Ms. Debbie earned her teaching degree at the University of Scranton. For the past twelve years, Ms. Debbie has stayed at home with her two children while actively volunteering at her children's schools. Ms. Debbie teaches our Tuesday and Wednesday morning Doodlebugs! It is a pleasure to have Ms. Debbie teach with us again this year! This is Ms. Debbie's fourth year teaching our wonderful doodlebugs!
